Manchester City have been fined £35,000 by the Football Association for their players’ conduct amid the 1-1 draw with Liverpool on 19 March.
The club admitted to an unfortunate behavior allegation for neglecting to guarantee their players acted in a systematic manner.
It took after an episode “in or around the 50th moment”, when ref Michael Oliver granted Liverpool a punishment.
James Milner scored from the spot, with Sergio Aguero evening out on 69 minutes.
Both Gael Clichy, who was punished for a raised boot on Roberto Firmino, and David Silva were reserved after Oliver indicated the spot.
